Ben Affleck`s loss in poker scandal overstated

Los Angeles: Actor-filmmaker Ben Affleck was a victim of one of the largest poker scandals, but reportedly his estimated loss is being exaggerated.

According to a new report, Affleck was one of hundreds of players who lost money on a website called Ultimate Bet during their cheating scandal in 2003. One of the site`s former owners claims that Affleck lost close to half a million dollars, but the actor`s sources say “that is nowhere near the case”. Tmz.com reports that Affleck did lose some money in the scandal but it was refunded as the money was won through cheating. IANS
