J.Lo thought her twins `didn’t love her`

London: Jennifer Lopez has confessed that she suffered from “baby blues” after giving birth to twins Max and Emme back in 2008. The 42-year-old actress revealed that she struggled to bond with her children when they were born, in an interview with Redbook magazine, as she promotes her new movie ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting’.

“I remember after the babies were born, about seven to 10 days in, I was like, “’What is going on with me?’” a leading daily has quoted her as telling the publication. “I felt sad and depressed and thought the babies didn’t love me. I actually remember picking up the book [What to Expect When You’re Expecting] to try to see what was happening to me, and it said how you have this huge hormonal drop about seven to 10 days after you give birth. It’s called the ‘baby blues.’ But I just thought they didn’t like me!” she added. Lopez plays Holly - a woman who adopts a baby from abroad - in the new film, which is adapted from the pregnancy guide book by Heidi Murkoff and Sharon Mazel. ANI
