Elena Kazan signs `John Day`

Mumbai: Model-turned-actress Elena Kazan, who shared screen space with Saif Ali Khan in ‘Agent Vinod’, has been roped in to star opposite Randeep Hooda in new film `John Day`. Elena will be playing an Iranian woman, the love interest of Randeep`s character. Directed by Ahishor Solomon and produced by Anjum Rizvi and K. Asif, ‘John Day’ is a thriller with an ensemble cast of Naseeruddin Shah, Shernaz Patel, Salim Ghouse and Vipin Sharma.

Born in Moscow, Elena grew up in Germany She is well-versed in Russian, French, German, English, Spanish, Bengali and Hindi. IANS
