Chris Brown gives financial support to ex

Los Angeles: Singer Chris Brown has reportedly given a huge amount of money to ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran following their split.

Brown and Tran parted ways after the former`s growing closeness with singer Rihanna and he wants the best for Tran. "Chris wants to set her up financially and do right by her - he wants her to stay in his life if possible," thesun.co.uk quoted a source as saying. Rihanna and Chris, who were together in 2008 and parted ways after the latter physically assaulted the "Umbrella" singer, have been cosying up publicly for quite some time. However, even Rihanna wants the best for Tran and even had a heart-to-heart talk with her. "Neither Rihanna nor Chris want to make things harder for her than they already are. Rihanna called Karrueche for a proper heart-to-heart. They needed to air a few problems," the source said. "The girls talked for close to two hours. Rih answered all of the questions and Karrueche had a few home truths to tell her," the source added. IANS
