Nicki Minaj drops by hospital to check on Lil Wayne

Los Angeles: Rapper Nicki Minaj showed her support for her ailing mentor Lil Wayne by visiting him at the hospital following his health scare last week.

The `Lollipop` hitmaker was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after allegedly suffering multiple seizures on the set of Minaj`s new video, reported TMZ online. Wayne was readmitted hours after he was released when his bodyguard found him lying unconscious in his room. The 30-year-old, whose real name is Dwayne Carter Jr, was treated in the intensive care unit, and was visited by the American Idol judge, who spent an hour by her label boss` bedside. Music producer Birdman, hip-hop star Drake, and basketball ace Chris Paul have also stopped by the hospital to check on the rap superstar while he recovers. PTI
