No immediate plan to join SP: Raja Bhaiyya

Allahabad, Oct 31: Independent MLA from Kunda Raghuraj PratapSingh alias Raja Bhaiyya, who IA presently under judicial custody,today said he would continue as an independent member of the UttarPradesh assembly and had no immediate plans to join the Samajwadi Party.

Allahabad, Oct 31: Independent MLA from Kunda Raghuraj Pratap
Singh alias Raja Bhaiyya, who IA presently under judicial custody,
today said he would continue as an independent member of the Uttar
Pradesh assembly and had no immediate plans to join the Samajwadi
Party.

The legislator was brought from the Pratapgarh district jail to
be produced before special judge Gangster Act A K Nigam who extended
his custody till November 6.

Talking to newspersons, Raja Bhaiyya said he was grateful to up
Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, adding ``Mr Yadav came to my
rescue when no one was ready to help me.``

The legislator said the conditions he was put into during the
regime of former state CM Mayawati were ``unbearable and
torturous.`` he added that Ms Mayawati was suffering for her deeds
and the day was not far when she would be in jail.

The MLA said he had full faith in judiciary and said the law
would take its own course. He claimed now his well wishers were not
being ``harassed`` by the police like before.
