Why video of Barack Obama and family serving dinner during Ramadan has gone viral

Washington: A video of United States of America (US) President Barack Obama and the first family, hosting a Iftar party during the month of Ramadan, has taken the social media by storm.

The video shows Obama, his wife and daughters, serving dinner at the White House. The video initially believed to be an Iftar party at the presidential house, however, turned out to be an old event at the White House.

The video uploaded on July 1 has garnered huge number of views.

In 2015, Obama hosted an Iftar dinner at the White House to conclude the daily fasting during the month of Ramadan, and to celebrate young leaders and women helping communities across the nation.
