New Delhi: Sonakshi Sinha has been grabbing a lot of eyeballs these days, be it her recent appearance on the runway where she walked the ramp for Falguni and Shane Peacock or her outing with designer friends Manish Malhotra, on Neha Dhupia's chat show.
Dressed in all black, Sonakshi showcased designer Falguni Shane Peacock's collection during the Lakmé Fashion Week Summer Resort 2018 in Mumbai and the diva looked completely ravishing.
It is a known fact that Sonakshi lost over 30 kgs of weight before making her debut in Salman Khan's 'Dabanng' and is an inspiration to many who struggles to lose weight. However, the actress too was a victim of body shaming.
While chatting up with Neha Dhupia on her chat show, Sonakshi went on to narrate that she was body shamed and called a 'cow' by a celebrity model when she walked the ramp initially. "What is this cow doing on the catwalk…?" one of the top models allegedly said while pointing at Sonakshi who was then all set to take to the ramp.
On being asked about the name of the model, Manish Malhotra prompted saying, "ahh Shamita Singha!"
The actress who has been on the radar for her weight ended up saying, "It isn't nice."
In one of her previous interviews with a daily, Sonakshi had shared that she was also bullied in school for being overweight as a teenager. But the actress also said that she's learned how to tackle the haters by blocking them away and not giving any importance to them.
