MHADA Lottery: 2,000 Flats In Mumbai's Prime Locations Up For Sale; Know How To Apply, Payment, Eligibility And Other Details

State-run housing agency Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) is going to launch a lottery for over 2,000 homes in September, the final announcement regarding which will be made in a couple of days, said an HT report.

The flats being offered will be situated in Mumbai's Prime Locations viz Malad, Powai, Vikhroli, Goregaon and Wadala

Total units: 2,030 flats Middle-income group (MIG) category units: 768 flats Lower income group (LIG) units: 627 flats Economic Weaker Section (EWS) units: 359 flats Higher Income Group (HIG) units: 276 flats

As per MHADA officials, the price will vary depending on the location. There is no fixed pricing mechanism for the housing. As per media reports EWS category flats will have starting price of around Rs 30 lakh, with the highest price for the HIG category reaching beyond Rs 1 crore.

Register on the MHADA official website Create your username and password Select the desired lottery, scheme Pay the online lottery registration fee --depending on your income category
