2023 Toyota Land Cruiser 250 Revealed With Quirky Styling: Design, Cabin, Specs - IN PICS

After a long wait, Toyota Land Cruiser 250 had shed veils as the successor to the Land Cruiser Prado and LC250 (For America).

The new LC250 will retail in two variants - Land Cruiser 1958 and Land Cruiser. While the former is more retro-themed and off-road focussed, the latter brings in some elements from the FJ62.

The Land Cruiser 250 has an approach angle of up to 31.0 degrees and a max departure of 22.0 degrees while breakover angle reaches 25.0 degrees. Ground clearance is up to 8.7 inches.

The 1958 trim sports the iconic round LED headlights and "TOYOTA" heritage grille, while Land Cruiser grades upgrade to slim, rectangular headlights reminiscent of the FJ62.

In comparison to the outgoing 200 Series, the new Land Cruiser 250 is 4.4 inches narrower and 1.2 inches shorter.

A 12.3-inch infotainment unit with a 14-speaker JBL premium sound system is available on the new dashboard of the Toyota Land Cruiser 250.

Powering the new LC250 is a hybrid setup with a 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine and a 48-hp electric motor, paired to an 8-speed AT. It produces a max output of 326 Hp and 630 Nm of torque. 

All variants of the Land Cruiser 250 will come with an LSD and a locking rear differential for a 50:50 power transfer.
