Gujarat Titans batsman Shubman Gill became the first Gujarat Titans batsman to sire a century in IPL 2023. Gill scored 101 runs in 58 balls with the help of 13 boundaries and a six against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad On Monday.

The most recent player to join the list of IPL 2023 centurions is Prabhsimran Singh. He achieved this feat while facing the Delhi Capitals in the 59th game of the tournament. Batting first, Punjab managed to score 167 runs, with Prabhsimran's knock being instrumental in their total. The 22-year-old displayed excellent batting skills, accumulating 103 runs off 65 deliveries. His century played a significant role in Punjab's eventual victory in the match.

Suryakumar Yadav, a prominent Indian batsman, joined the elite century club as the fourth player to achieve this milestone in IPL 2023. In the 57th game of the tournament on May 12, the 32-year-old recorded his maiden IPL century against the Gujarat Titans. Opting to bat first, Mumbai piled up a massive total of 218 runs on the board for Gujarat to chase. During the first innings, Suryakumar displayed his class by scoring an unbeaten 103 runs off just 49 deliveries.

The third player to register a century in IPL 2023 was Yashasvi Jaiswal. The young Indian talent scored his maiden IPL hundred in the 42nd game of the tournament, also against the Mumbai Indians, on April 30. Batting first, the Rajasthan team amassed a formidable total of 212 runs. Jaiswal played a significant role in their innings, smashing 124 runs off just 62 deliveries. His impressive century also positioned him as a frontrunner for the IPL orange cap, awarded to the tournament's leading run-scorer.

 

Venkatesh Iyer, a star player from the Kolkata Knight Riders, achieved the second century of IPL 2023. In the 22nd game of the season on April 16, the 28-year-old displayed a scintillating batting display against the Mumbai Indians. Batting first, Iyer blazed his way to a remarkable score of 104 runs in just 51 deliveries, propelling Kolkata to a total of 185 runs. Despite his impressive century, Kolkata ended up on the losing side. Nonetheless, Iyer's performance earned him a place in the record books as only the second Kolkata player, following Brendon McCullum, to achieve this feat.

In the IPL 2023, Harry Brook, an English batsman, achieved the distinction of scoring the tournament's very first century. The 19th game of the season featured a clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders. Opting to bat first, Hyderabad posted an impressive total of 228 runs on the scoreboard. During their innings, Brook showcased an outstanding performance, remaining unbeaten with a score of 100 runs off just 55 deliveries. His exceptional knock played a pivotal role as Hyderabad emerged victorious in the match, winning by a margin of 23 runs.
