Neeraj Chopra won his first international medal at the 2014 Youth Olympics Qualification event in Bangkok. Neeraj came home with silver medal.

Neeraj Chopra won a gold medal with a best of 82.23 metres, a personal best, at the 2016 South Asian Games. He fell agonizingly short of the 83-meter mark, needed for Olympic qualification.

Neeraj Chopra set a world junior record with an 86.48 metre throw at IAAF World Under-20 Championships in 2016. He was the first Indian athlete to achieve a world record.

Neeraj created history last year as he became only the second Indian individual gold medallist at Tokyo Olympics. He won with a throw of 87.58 m in his second attempt, becoming the first Indian Olympian to win a gold medal in athletics.

Neeraj Chopra landed an 86.47m throw, winning gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. He was the first Indian to win the javelin throw at the Commonwealth games.
