How close is Artifical Intelligence from making us jobless? Here's what experts predict

New Delhi: Artificial intelligence is the next big thing and and its changing the world at a rapid pace. Experts say that machines will soon replace humans and will be able to do every task in a much better and efficient manner and not to forget, in a cost-effective manner too.

Many industries globally are using AI and they have been benefited, albeit, the count is low.

All these things raise a very important question and that is when will artificial intelligence surpass human performance and deliver in a much better way than human beings.

Researchers at Future of Humanity Institute at the University of Oxford conducted a survey and asked some experts about the time AI will take to outdo humans.

Experts predict that artificial intelligence will outperform humans in next 10 years, that is by 2027.

The survey further found that tasks such as translating languages will be done by 2024, writing high school essays by 2026 and driving trucks by the year 2027.

Other tasks such as working in the retail industry, writing bestselling books and capable of working as a doctor will be achieved by 2031, 2049 and 2053 respectively.

Researchers further predict that there is a fifty percent chance that AI will be better than humans in all the aspects by 45 years.

Although, it is not confirmed as to how many years will artificial intelligence exactly take to go ahead, but one thing is for sure that its on the way and about to knock our doors.
