VIDEO: Murtaza Ahmadi – Lionel Messi's five-year-old Afghani fan

New Delhi: Ever since a picture emerged of him wearing a blue and white plastic carrier bag he had turned into an Argentina shirt with Lionel Messi's name on it, Murtaza Ahmadi is no more an unknown kid.

Ahmadi, who hails from Afghanistan is a said to be a huge Messi fan. 

Here is a video of him playing football as his father describes the incidents of him like saying Messi's name after waking up at night. His father also added that he wants to meet Messi.

Jorge Messi, Lionel's father, had earlier told the AFP news agency the footballer was familiar with the photos and “wants to do something” for the boy who lives in the Taliban region prone to insurgency.

And the Afghanistan Football Federation has confirmed the Barcelona player is trying to arrange a meeting with his devoted fan.
