London Olympics 2012 Boxing: Manoj Kumar knocked out of Olympics

Live updates from the boxing match between India`s Manoj Kumar and Britain`s Thomas Stalker

Zeenews Sports Bureau
London: Indian boxer Manoj Kumar was knocked out of London Olympics as he lost in the pre-quarterfinals bout of 64kg category 16-20 against Britain’s Thomas Stalker.
Stalker won the first two rounds as Manoj tried to put some fight in the third and final round as his Brit opponent ran out of steam. It was a good fightback by Manoj Kumar in the third and final round but it proved to be too late. All eyes will be now on two boxers in the quarter-finals - Vijender Singh and Devendro Singh. A win for them in the final eight will ensure at least a bronze medal.
