MEA says 'necessary to ensure ground stability', amid Sino-India border row

The spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said disengagement is a complex process which would require both countries to follow on mutually agreed actions. Srivastava said the next meeting under the framework of the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination (WMCC) on India-China border affairs is likely to take place "soon".

India, China to hold Crops Commander-level meet today

This time a diplomat from the Indian side will be present at the meeting. Naveen Srivastava, Joint Secretary East Asia of Ministry of External Affairs will attend the Crops Commander meet tomorrow. Atleast five such corps commander meetings between the Indian and Chinese armies has taken place on June 6, 22 and 30, July 14 and August 2.
