Vijay Mallya's passport suspended; ED seeks non-bailable warrant against him

Government on Friday suspended the passposrt of Vijay Mallya, whose Kingfisher Airlines has defaulted on loans of over Rs 9,400 crores and who has been defying Enforcement Directorate summons, and even threatened to revoke it.

No confirmation if Mallya would appear before ED today

ED is yet to receive a communication in reply to its third summons issued against liquor baron Vijay Mallya to present himself before its investigators in Mumbai on Saturday in connection with a money laundering probe in the over Rs 900 crore IDBI loan fraud case.
