India: 58,578 patients recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, 979 people succumb

India has registered 46,148 new COVID-19 cases and 979 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Monday. For the first time in two and a half months, the death toll has fallen below the 1,000 mark.

Central government's instructions to 8 states, "Beware of Delta Plus variant"
