Daniel Radcliffe happy to be recognised as himself

After years of being known as Harry Potter, actor Daniel Radcliffe is delighted that fans are slowly beginning to recognise him by his real name rather than as the popular teen wizard.

London: After years of being known as Harry Potter, actor Daniel Radcliffe is delighted that fans are slowly beginning to recognise him by his real name rather than as the popular teen wizard.
Radcliffe, 23, is thrilled that people are no longer shouting, `Harry Potter` at him, reported Femalefirst online.
"I would be lying if I said I didn`t get Harry Potter at all. Of course I do. But you know what? I would say the split is now rather encouragingly in favour of Daniel Radcliffe, which is rather lovely," he said. Radcliffe was just 11 when he was cast as Harry Potter in the film adaptation of the best selling JK Rowling book. He went on to play the character in all of the eight films, the last of which was released in 2011. "I walked past two girls on a bench the other day, and I heard them both go, `Oh my god, it is Daniel Radcliffe`, and every time that happens I think, `Yes!` Not because they recognise me, because they use my name," he added. Since his days playing Harry Potter came to an end, Radcliffe has starred in the Broadway musical `How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying` and the 2012 horror film ‘The Woman in Black’.
