I’d love to get back with the boys in Westlife again, says Brian McFadden

London: It has been nine years since Brian McFadden stunned fans by walking out on Westlife, and now he wishes to get back with his former group.

The Irish boy band was at the peak of their powers, securing 12 No.1 singles and having sold 40 million albums. The lads went on as a four-piece while McFadden forged a TV career in Australia. When asked if he was still in contact with his old bandmates, he said that it’s like the people you went to college with, there were no bad vibes. He didn’t mind not being invited on the band’s Farewell Tour last year, as there was never a conversation about it. He said that the Westlife he was in for six years and the Westlife that was together for the next seven was a different band, it wasn’t the same band anymore, the Sun reported. However, he didn’t rule out getting back together in the future. “I’d love to do something with the boys again and probably one day we will. But if they get back together in five years to celebrate 20 years of getting together and they don’t invite me, then I will be p***** off!” she said. ANI
