Russell Brand only wants to make people laugh

London: Russell Brand, who has spoken publicly for the first time since his marriage split from Katy Perry, has said that all he wants to do is make people laugh.

In a bizarre, rambling monologue, the funnyman vowed to immerse himself in his comedy – and insisted that’s all he ever wants to do. “I don’t see myself or my role as a malevolent jester attacking people who are already disenfranchised,” the Mirror quoted him as saying. “All I want is to make people feel better than they do now. “All I want is to make people laugh,” he added.
