Sam Worthington scared of heights

New York: Australian actor Sam Worthington had a tough time shooting a jump from a skyscraper for his new movie ‘Man on a Ledge’ as he is scared of heights. Worthington wore a harness that was attached to a pulley system while shooting the movie, but he still had reservations about climbing 22 floors up one of the New York`s tallest buildings.

“I spent three weeks at the Roosevelt Hotel standing on a 14-inch ledge that was 22 stories off the ground. That`s over 200 feet above Madison Ave, and I don`t deal with height very well. When you`re on the corner of the building, you can`t really feel the wall. All you feel is the wind. You`re just out there alone like Batman,” a website has quoted him as saying. IANS
