Antonio Banderas-Melanie Griffith marriage in trouble due to Mallika Sherawat?

Mumbai: Is there trouble in Antonio Banderas-Melanie Griffith marriage? Seems like it and the reason behind the tension is none other than our very own desi export Mallika Sherawat. The actress, who was pictured grinding and making merry with Banderas at Cannes film festival in May this year, has rubbed wife Melanie the wrong way. According to sources, Melanie stayed back in LA in May and did not attend the festival. Antonio, meanwhile, was spotted having a great time with Ms Sherawat. The duo was spotted at coffee shops, and clubs partying during the festival. And when Melanie was spotted shopping without her wedding ring, rumours about the break up just became stronger. But a source defended Mallika and said, "Mallika got dragged into the marriage drama after Melanie saw the photos and videos of her husband with the Indian actress." Speaking to a daily, Sherawat`s stylist friend Ivan Bitton also stated that the Mallika has no role to play in the whole break up. "Antonio was very attracted to Mallika and you could see that from a video. He grabbed her from behind, and he was really into the dance. I could hear him telling her how beautiful she was. As they were dancing together, a haggard looking woman in her 40s, violently pushed Mallika out of the way. I just grabbed her hand and we went downstairs, we didn`t want to deal with any drama," he said. While the couple in question hasn’t officially separated, their close friends reveal that Melanie will only work on her marriage if Antonio shows any keenness. Mallika wasn`t available for comment.
