Desi girl Freida eyeing Bollywood?

Mumbai: Dusky beauty Freida Pinto might have said that she has no plans to do Bollywood films, but the buzz that is doing the rounds has a different story to tell. The girl who became an overnight sensation post `Slumdog Millionaire` has been roped in by Hollywood filmmakers for her unconventional Indian look. And since her career in the US got a great launch pad, Freida had little intentions of doing Indian films. But recently, the girl was spotted with ace filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and his actor wife Kalki Koechlin. She had even invited the couple along with Vishal Bhardwaj, Vikas Behl, Anubhav Sinha and Abbas Tyrewala to a special bash she had thrown recently. Talking to a tabloid, a source said, “Freida invited filmmakers she would be comfortable working with. She played the perfect host. The message was clear, Bollywood is her next stop.” Her spokesperson said, “She`s open to offers from every part of the world including Bollywood. She wants to be a part of world cinema.” Well...Freida we guess you considered Bollywood too sub-standard for your international persona. But at the end…its good you realised, India is the place you originally belong to!
