New Delhi: You can expect Rs 1 per a dropped call or a disconnected call from your telecom service provider.

The Telcom Service Regulatory Authority, who proposes guidelines for the regulation of telecom sector in the country, has proposed a penalty in lieu of deficient services.

According to The Times of India report, the penalty is expected to be announced by Friday, will be applicable nationally and across all operators.

The issue of call drops has become a grave matter and has even been raised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, finance minister Arun Jaitley and telecom minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.
