New Delhi: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Saturday congratulated the Indian women's hockey team for winning the Asian Champions Trophy. The 74-year-old actor took to Twitter to extend his warm wishes.
"T 2433 -INDIA WINS !!! Womens Hockey wins Asian Championship, BEATS China .. yeeeaaaahhhhhhh !! COME ON INDIA !! Jai Hind," Big B tweeted.
India beat China 2-1 in the thrilling summit clash to lift the title in Singapore.
India's earlier best finish in the Women's Asian Champions Trophy came in the last edition in 2013 when it finished runner-up to Japan.
