Women should be fearless, says Nicki Minaj

Los Angeles: Singer Nicki Minaj believes women should learn to stand up for themselves more and not let their insecurities take control, as otherwise they will never succeed in life.

"You need to be fearless. Women all have insecurities and we all have things we don`t like about ourselves in terms of body image and where we are in life socially and relationship-wise. There are so many things to deal with," contactmusic.com quoted Minaj as saying. She admits she is not always so positive and has a tendency to look at the negatives in life without enjoying the good things about it. "I happen to be a pessimist. I don`t stop to smell the roses, which is not a good thing. I don`t stop and enjoy those moments. I am just on to the next. Always on to the next and never in the moment," said the 30-year-old. IANS
