    On Thursday, the jury for the 69th National Film Award announced that Shreya won the Best Female Playback Singer for the song 'Mayava Chayava' from the film 'Iravin Nizhal'. She won her first National Award in 2003 for her song 'Bairy Piya' in 'Devdas'. Later she bagged the National Awards for 'Dheere Jalna' (Paheli) and 'Yeh Ishq Haaye' (Jab We Met). In 2010, she won a National Award for not one but two songs — Jiv Dangla from the Marathi film Jogva and Pherari Mon from the Bangla movie Antaheen.

    As 'RRR' bagged 6 titles at the 69th National Film Awards, the team is in a celebratory mood. Congratulating the winners, SS Rajamouli took to 'X' and wrote, "It’s a SIXERRR… Congratulations to the entire team of RRR on winning national awards. Thanks to the jury for the recognition. Kaala Bhairava won Best Male Playback singer award for 'Komuram Bheemudo' track from 'RRR'. SS Rajamouli's film was also declared Best Film For Wholesome Entertainment. The film also received awards in categories 'Best Action Direction', 'Best Choreography', 'Best Special Effects' and 'Best Music Direction'.

    R. Madhavan’s directorial debut  'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect' on Thursday was named as the Best Feature Film at the 69th National Film Awards. With 280 films across 28 languages in competition for various awards, the event was held by the jury at the National Media Centre in the national capital.  

    Also, director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s runaway success ‘The Kashmir Files’ has bagged the Nargis Dutt Award for the Best Feature Film on National Integration. The event took place at the National Media Centre hosted by the jury. It had 280 films across 28 languages in competition for various awards.
