Bollywood goes all praise for Akshay Kumar's 'Airlift'

New Delhi: New Year has surely started on a good note for Akshay Kumar as he has been critically applauded for his recently release 'Airlift' and has also been lauded by his contemporaries. Praising the actor.

Congratulations @akshaykumar and the entire team."Taking to his Twitter handle, host Manish Paul tweeted, "Finally saw #Airlift !!!!wow!!!a MUST watch!! @akshaykumar sir at his best!!!"Notably, Raja Menon`s directorial has made 72.50 crore in five days.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted the news saying, "#Airlift is SENSATIONAL on Tue. Crosses ? 70 cr. Should easily surpass Akshay`s highest *Week 1* biz - #RowdyRathore ? 79.52 cr..."

Others who praised the work of the 48-year-old actor included film director Prabhu Deva, actor Pulkit Samrat , Athiya Shetty veteran actress Shabana Azmi and Anupam Kher. Akshay and Nimrat Kaur starrer patriotic movie, which was released on January 22, has received a huge positive response from the movie critics and thus is ruling out all phases of Bollywood today.
