Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra in Abbas-Mustan’s next

Spicezee Bureau Mumbai: Katrina Kaif is back in action. The stunner, who was recently reported to be out of work after her yet to be released ‘Rajneeti’, has caught the fancy of maverick filmmakers Abbas-Mustan. Known for churning some of the most popular blockbusters of all time, the talented director duo have zeroed on the swishy lass to play the lead role in their desi copy of Hollywood hit ‘The Italian Job’. But sadly Kat will have to share the limelight with yet another screen-scorcher Priyanka Chopra. As per reports, the film will have two female leads along with couple of dishy hunks that include Abhishek Bachchan, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Akshaye Khanna and Kunal Kapoor. Talking about the film screenplay writer Rohit Jugraj said, “Though the producers and Abbas Mustan have bought the remake rights, we’ve changed the Hindi version of ‘The Italian Job’ considerably. For one, the stakes for the heist are much higher. The situations, fights and adventures are all different - and so are the characters.” However, sources state that the two divas are very much a part of the project. Confirming a news daily the filmmaker duo said, “There are a lot of changes in the script. But in spirit our ‘The Italian Job’ will remain the same. So far, we’ve not locked in the entire cast. But we’re definitely in serious talks with all the names (Katrina, Priyanka) you’ve mentioned. It’s a very big project and we need to get the biggest names in place before we start.”
