London: It was a match made in heaven but country superstar Kenny Chesney split from actress Renee Zellweger as he was not able to manage his career and life with her.The Oscar winner annulled the marriage just four months after the couple exchanged vows in May, 2005, citing fraud and both the actress and the singer have not spoken about the real reason for the split, a news website reported.

Talking about his wedding woes with US chat show host Oprah Winfrey the `You Save Me` hitmaker said he couldn`t maintain the "house" his career had become and married life at the same time and his professional life won. "You protect everything and all the relationships and all the people that helped you build that house... I protected that box and I didn`t know if I could do both", Chesney added. However, the singer still has very fond feelings for his ex-wife and said, "She was a sweet soul, no doubt about it." PTI
