And no, it’s not his affection for Katrina, who receives more wrath than affection, but his addiction to booze that the actor has done away with. However, unlike all his past love affairs that saw him turning into a loony romantic and exposing his ugly raw instincts, getting rid of his foremost love for booze has done much good to this bad boy. What we have before us is an all-new Salman. Looking sober - a sight we haven’t seen in a long time, the actor shredded a massive 10 Kgs in just 2 months just by staying away from alcohol. Apparently, it was the trashy reviews to the first look of his flick ‘Veer’, in which the actor appeared ugly with a potbelly, shabby hairdo and brawny looks that did the trick. Though the actor was determined to get rid of his flab, it took good friend Aamir’s perfect gyaan for Sallu to stick to his resolve of no booze. Speaking about the actor’s no booze resolve, a news daily quoted a friend as saying, “Salman took Aamir’s words very seriously. As it is, Anil Sharma (director of Veer) had asked him to tone up for the fight sequences of Veer which were supposed to be shot in March. Now he is maintaining his weight and the puffiness on his face has gone. His hands have become thinner. Overall, he is looking fitter than he did last year.”
