This 26-year-old woman with body full of wrinkles is breaking beauty stereotypes!

Sara Geurts suffers from a rare skin condition called Dermatosparaxis Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), a genetic condition that caused her skin to prematurely wrinkle.

New Delhi: A 26-year-old model from Minneapolis looks decades older than her actual age because her body is full of wrinkles.

This is because Sara Geurts suffers from a rare skin condition called Dermatosparaxis Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), a genetic condition that caused her skin to prematurely wrinkle.

The disorder causes Sara to have with soft, doughy skin that is extremely fragile, and also causes dislocated joints, and numerous other health issues.

It is said that there is no known cure for the condition and only around eight people worldwide have this specific genetic disease.

Despite suffering from a rare disorder, Sara Geurts is breaking the stereotypes and challenging beauty standards by becoming a model.

She now takes pride in her unique look and has embraced her body as she heads towards a career in modeling. She looks absolutely stunning in all her pictures that have taken all over the internet.

According to a report in Daily Mail, the aspiring model said she started to notice her symptoms when she was about seven. But she was diagnosed with EDB when she was 10-years-old which made her skin sag throughout her body.

Reportedly, in 2015, Sara submitted a photo of herself to a body positivity project called, Love Your Lines Campaign, where women are encouraged to embrace their stretch marks, scars and other imperfections. Geurts says that her story from that campaign received more than 25,000 likes and since then, she was dedicated to showing her disorder and raising awareness.

Sara aspires to become a model with Ehlers-Danlos as she wants to break society's views of perfection and raise awareness about the disorder.
