Priyanka Chopra’s maiden Hollywood production based on racism?

Priyanka Chopra, who made her debut on American TV with ‘Quantico’ a couple of years back, was launched in Hollywood by Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Baywatch’ this summer.

Mumbai: Actress –singer Priyanka Chopra, who is now a popular name in the international showbiz world, may soon produce her maiden Hollywood film.

The former Miss World, who made her debut on American TV with ‘Quantico’ a couple of years back, was launched in Hollywood by Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Baywatch’ this summer. She has two more films in the pipeline – ‘A Kid Like Jake’ and ‘Isn’t Romantic?’.

According to a report in dnaindia.com originally attributed Mid-Day, Priyanka’s mother, co-producer of Purple Pebble Pictures (a production company jointly owned by PeeCee and her) said, “Priyanka has short listed a few stories. Her work process is thorough. She works and reworks the drafts till she is fully satisfied. She has recommended a few plot changes. She is sharp with business. The budget has to be under control and the story has to credible. I trust Priyanka to make the right decisions.”

Priyanka has often spoken about being a victim of racism there and hence it is being believed that her first Hollywood film may be based on the subject.

Nonetheless, the lady in question has remained tight-lipped about her first Hollywood production so far. So let’s wait and watch.
