Madonna defends new `wild` video after viewing restriction

Madonna has brushed off the controversy surrounding the raunchy video of her latest single `Girl Gone Wild`.

London: Pop superstar Madonna has brushed off the controversy surrounding the raunchy video of her latest single `Girl Gone Wild`. The 53-year-old singer`s new promo, which includes nudity, has been slapped with a viewing age restriction by YouTube bosses, a leading daily has reported. Madonna`s management have reportedly been asked to recut the video so that the video-sharing website can screen the video for all of its users.
"I`m supposed to be a girl gone wild in the video! How could you go wild and not grind? This is the question that people should be asking," Madonna said.
Earlier, a representative for YouTube had said, "We review all videos flagged by our users against our community guidelines. In some cases we age restrict flagged material that, while not in violation of those guidelines, contains images that may be unsuitable for younger users." PTI
