New Delhi: Xiaomi on Wednesday launched the Redmi 3S Prime smartphone, successor to its popular Redmi 2 Prime.

Pricing it at just Rs 8,999, the Redmi 3S Prime comes with features such as fingerprint sensor, 3GB of RAM and runs on the latest Android6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Moreover, it comes with a 5-inch screen while the Redmi 2 Prime had come with 4.7-inch screen.

So, here are some of the interesting features of Xiaomi Redmi S3 Prime.

DISPLAY: The Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime comes with a 5-inch HD display of 720x1280 pixel resolution that gives 294ppi.

PROCESSOR: It is powered by a 1.1GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor

OPERATING SYSTEM: It runs on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

SENSOR: It comes with a fingerprint sensor.

MEMORY: Redmi 3S Prime comes with 32GB of internal memory with an option to expand it up to 128GB via a microSD card.

RAM: The device comes with 3GB of RAM

CAMERA: The Redmi 3S flaunts a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfie.

BATTERY: The device is powered by a huge 4,100 mAh battery.

COLOURS: It comes in three colours of Dark grey, Silver and Gold.
