Vadodara: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sunil Kulkarni, who contested against Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the Vadodara constituency in last year`s Lok Sabha elections, joined the BJP on Friday.

"I have joined BJP, will go to Delhi tomorrow and take part in Modiji`s rally. AAP isn`t what it was but Modi ji`s work is impressive," Kulkarni told ANI.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been locked in a fierce battle with the AAP with the Delhi polls just round the corner.

The party is posing five questions to the AAP as part of its ongoing election campaign for the upcoming polls.

The AAP, however, has hit back at the BJP for not issuing a manifesto and shying away from a debate between Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi.

Elections in Delhi are scheduled to take place on February 7, with the counting of the votes to take place on February 10.
