Rahman-ia continues; Akon features the magic musician in his video

Mumbai, March 17: With his hands full and kitty heavy with Oscar trophies AR Rahman is back home but his rendezvous with West is far from over. Giving the world the winning anthem ‘Jai Ho’, the Indian musical prodigy, who is a huge sensation overseas, has become the most sought after celebrity with Hollywood. News has it that sexy sirens and rappers are queuing up to share stage with him.His multi award-winning number that has made it to the top ranks at international musical charts has the world stuck to ‘Rahmania’. And as the list of international stars vying for Rahman’s attention grows, Akon is the latest musician to feature the music maestro in his video. Taken from Akon’s album ‘Freedom’, the music video features Rahman alongside Kardinal Offishall and Colby O`Donis. The video that is already a hit in US shows the ever-so-shy, Rahman in a hip new avatar. The crooner appears towards the end of the video, dressed in a dapper suit surrounded by sassy models. Even though his cameo lasts a few seconds, Akon is already drawing plans to work with the whiz again. And more importantly, is also looking forward to infuse Bollywood’s flavour in the project.
