London: The World Health Organization (WHO) has said that the Ebola outbreak is now "stable" in Guinea where the crisis began.
WHO coordinator Dr Guenael Rodier said that although there were flare-ups in the south east but there was improvement in other prefectures, reported the BBC.
The epidemic has claimed more than 5,400 lives in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia.
United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said that the outbreak can be ended by mid 2015 if the world speeds up its response.
