BJP alleges mistrust between former PM, ministers during UPA regime

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday said that there was a lack of trust between the ministers and former prime minister Manmohan Singh during the UPA regime adding that the position of the latter was reduced to a ridicule.

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday said that there was a lack of trust between the ministers and former prime minister Manmohan Singh during the UPA regime adding that the position of the latter was reduced to a ridicule.

"During the previous government there was mistrust between the Ministers and the Prime Minister. The Ministers did not have faith in the Prime Minister," BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra told the Media.

"The way the position of Prime Minister was reduced to ridicule was something the country saw first time during tenure of Dr Manmohan Singh," he added.

Earlier on Saturday, the BJP said that the previous UPA regime was very stagnant and lacked the ability to take decisions.
