New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to announce the CBSE 10th results 2015 on May 27 at around 12 noon.

Students can check their cbse 10th result by logging on to either of the board's official websites: cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in

The CBSE X Board Exams were conducted in the month of March.

A total of 13,73,853 students appeared for the class 10 CBSE board examination this year. While 8,17,941 boys appeared for the exam; 5,55,912 girls sat for the exam this year.

The CBSE on Monday declared the results for class XII examination, with 82 percent students passing the exam and girls faring better than boys.

The pass percentage of girls stood at 87.56 as compared to 77.77 percent of the boys.

The overall pass percentage was marginally lower than last year where 82.70 percent students had passed the exam as against 82 percent this year.

The CBSE has started providing post-result counselling to students and parents to overcome common psychological problems and address general queries related to Class 10 and 12 results.

The voluntary, free of cost counselling, being provided for the 18th consecutive year, would continue till June 8 daily from 8 am to 10 pm.

During the counselling, 58 experts including principals, trained counsellors from CBSE affiliated government and private schools and few psychologists will be available for tele-counselling.

A 'Centralized Access System' (CAS) similar to that of a call centre has also been introduced for better accessibility and convenience of the students who can dial a toll free number 1800 11 8004 from any part of the country and get in touch with operator for general queries related to result or with counsellors for one to one telephonic counselling.
