Minor fire in bank in Kolkata

Kolkata: A minor fire broke out Tuesday morning in a bank on the posh Camac Street in central Kolkata.

There was no casualty and the blaze was brought under control within two hours, according to fire brigade officials.

"A few sustained minor injuries and were given first aid. The fire damaged documents, furniture and ACs at the bank," he said.

Three fire tenders were rushed to the spot after the fire broke out in the premises of the the State Bank of Patiala on Camac Street under Shakespeare Sarani PS at 6.35 AM, a fire brigade official said.
