Mahindra, the homegrown automaker recently revealed the country's second locally made electric SUV - the Mahindra XUV400 - which will be launched in January 2023. Ahead of the launch, we drove the electric SUV at the Mahindra SUV Proving Track to understand the vehicle and here's our detailed image gallery of the Mahindra XUV400.

One of the highlights of the electric SUV's cabin is its gear knob with digital features and copper highlights which helps SUV get its power. The Mahindra XUV400 comes with a 39.4kW battery pack that uses Li-ion cells and takes 50 minutes to complete 80% charging with a 50kW DC fast charger.

The front fascia of the Mahindra XUV400 replaces the grill that is seen in the SUV300 with a completely covered grill with the copper twin-peaks ligi and a pattern for a new design.

While Mahindra has unveiled the SUV in two colour options - Arctic Blue and Napoli Black, however, it will be available in five colours: Arctic Blue, Everest White, Galaxy Grey, Napoli Black, and Infinity Blue, with a dual tone roof option in Satin Copper finish.
