Bally Sagoo, Sukhwinder Singh, Sardool Sikander: Famous singers from 90s and where are they now
90s pop sensation Tarsame Singh Saini, popularly known as Taz from Stereo Nation passed away on Satuday at the age of 54. As per reports, the singer suffered a liver failure following which, he slipped into a coma. Taz, who rose to fame with his album 'Hit The Deck' in 1989, was called the pioneer of cross-cultural Asian fusion music. He had a massive fan following and he rose to fame for his unique voice and foot-tapping numbers. His sudden death has left his fans in a state of shock.
Sukhwinder Singh
Sukhwinder Singh created his magic by singing the popular dance hit song 'Chhaiyya Chhaiyya' for the Mani Ratnam movie 'Dil Se' in 1998, for which he received the coveted Filmfare Best Male Playback Singer Award. He achieved international acclaim after his song Jai Ho from the Oscar winning 'Slumdog Millionaire' won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Ever since then, his songs and awards, especially in collaboration with Oscar-winner AR Rahman. Barely weeks back, the singer launched Sri Hanuman Chalisa at Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Ayodhya.

Punjabi singer Sardool Sikander was a popular Punjabi folk and pop singer. He was known for tracks such as 'Sanu Ishq Barandi Chad Gayi' and 'Ek Charkha Gali De Vich'. He debuted in 1980 with the album 'Roadways Di Laari'. He had also acted in some Punjabi language films, like 'Jagga Daku'. He was born on January 15, 1961. In February 2021, he had tested positive for coronavirus and was admitted hospital in Mohali. A few days later, later, passed away due to illness.
