From Aishwarya Rai to Lulia Vantur - Salman Khan's most talked-about love affairs over the years!

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan's relationship used to be the talk of the town when Katrina has a newbie in the film industry. Although they have never confirmed their relationship, it is believed that the two began dating after Kat's debut film with Salman 'Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya'. However, in 2010, Katrina broke up with the actor and then started dating Ranbir Kapoor. Salman and Katrina still remain very good friends till date.

Aishwarya and Salman's love affair is one of the most controversial in Bollywood. The two began dating on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hum Dil Chuke Sanam and were together for 2 years until a bitter breakup. 

During their tumulous relationship, there were rumours of Salman being abusive towards Aishwarya. In 2001, the infamous incident occurred where Salman Khan reached Ash's house in the wee hours of the night and banged her door for hours until she finally let him in. 

In an old interview, Salman himself admitted that he had not behaved well with Aishwarya's parents and apologised for the same.

After their breakup, Aishwarya publicly expressed she doesn't want to work with the actor anymore.

Miss India winner 1980 Sangeeta Bijlani and Salman Khan were in a very serious relationship and were set to get married on 27th May 1994. They met at a Bollywood party and felt an instant connection to each other.

However, reports stated that Sangeeta had accused Salman of cheating and called off the wedding. 

She also added that she felt that Salman wasn't capable of being a boyfriend or a husband. Sangeeta got married to former cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin in 1996 but they are divorced now.

Former actress Somy Ali was in a relationship with Salman Khan in the mid-90s, almost 20 years ago. She had arrived in India to pursue a relationship with Salman as she had a crush on him as a teenager. At the same time, she was also building a modelling career. The two would get into a relationship but Somy claimed that he cheated on her so she left for the US and resumed her education. Somy told Zoom Digital this year, "It's been 20 years since I broke up with him. He cheated on me and I broke up with him and left."

Actress Sneha Ullal made her debut in 'Lucky: No Time For Love' with Salman Khan and the two were rumoured to be dating. The buzz was quite strong as Sneha was touted to be an Aishwarya Rai lookalike and fans speculated that this was why Salman Khan pursued a relationship with her. However, none of them ever confirmed such reports.

Lulia Vantur is believed to be Salman Khan's current ladylove. They met in 2010 in Dublin when Salman was shooting for 'Bodyguard' and they stayed in touch after that. Lulia then flew down to Mumbai and has worked on Bollywood projects. She has sung the song 'Ummbakkum' from the film 'O Teri' in 2014. For the unversed, she also sang a song ‘Every Night and Day’ for Himesh Reshammiya’s album Aap Se Mausiiquii. Lulia is also seen at family events with Salman Khan which has fans wondering when they will take their relationship to the next level.
