Actor Vicky Kaushal holds a drgree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Mumbai. He graduated in the year 2009.

Vicky's father Shyam Kaushal is an action director and his mother Veena Kaushal is a homemaker.

Vicky Kaushal made his debut in 2012 with the film 'Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurrana', where he played a supporting role. He however gained recognition with his role in Neeraj Ghaywan's 'Massan'.

Before getting into acting, Vicky worked as an assistant director for Anurag Kashyap's 'Gangs of Wassepur'.

 In 2018, the actor was featured in '30 under 30' list of  Forbes India. In 2019 he featured in the magazine's 'Forbes India's Celebrity 100' list.
