With 7861 runs, Naman Ojha sits at number 10 in the list of batters with most runs in Ranji Trophy history. The wicketkeeper and batter from MP could have had a good international career had Dhoni not happened to Indian cricket.

Hrishikesh Kanitkar played for 3 teams in his first-class career, namely Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Railways and finished with 8059 runs.  

Bengal's Manoj Tiwary has had an outstanding Ranji Trophy career spanning decades in which he made 8348 runs. He is also among the cricketers with massive batting talent who could not have a decent international career.  

Faiz Yakub Fazal, who played first-class cricket for Vidarbha and Railways, score 8374 runs in Ranji Trophy.

Former India opener Wasim Jaffer played for two teams Mumbai and Vidarbha and accumulated 12038 runs, becoming the most successful batter in history of Ranji Trophy.
