PM Modi lauds ISRO's successful launch of GSAT-18 satellite!

New Delhi: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is certainly making waves in the field of space and its achievements in recent months have been praised by the entire nation.

The wee hours of Thursday morning witnessed ISRO's latest feat, the launch of India's communication satellite GSAT-18.

Lauding the successful launch, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent in his best wishes by a congratulatory message through Twitter.

"Congratulations to @isro for successfully launching the communication satellite, GSAT-18. This is another milestone for our space programme," Modi tweeted.

The satellite was launched on board Ariane-5 rocket from Kourou in French Guiana.
