Harbhajan Singh to sponsor kit for disabled cricketers of India
The kit which would otherwise cost around INR 3 Lakhs, will be sponsored by Harbhajan.

The recent trend has shown, cricketers at the penultimate stage of their careers prefer enjoying doing some off-field activities like charity work. Our own Bhajji is always engaged in some sort of activities. This time, Harbhajan Singh is has given a great gesture to the Indian disabled cricket team by announcing to sponsor their clothing for the Afghanistan tri-series in between July 20 and 30.
According to a report on mid-day, the off-spinner was approached by the secretary of the Physically Challenged Cricket Association of India (PCCAI), Ravi Chauhan, for the cause. The kit which would otherwise cost around INR 3 Lakhs, will be sponsored by Harbhajan.
Secretary Ravi thanked Bhajji by saying, “We regularly update Harbhajan about the matches our boys play. I asked him if he could sponsor kits and he immediately agreed. Every will get a pair each of the practice kit, traveling clothes and match colours. We are grateful to Harbhajan for his help. It would have cost us around Rs 3 lakh had we made kits for the tour.”
Earlier, MS Dhoni also sponsored this team during their 6-0 series win in South Africa in 2014.
