CSK reunion: When players of suspended franchise came together for special photo during Indian Premier League 2016

 New Delhi: Chennai's cricket lovers are clearly disappointed, as their beloved Indian Premier League franchise is not part of the tournament this term.

However, Chennai Super Kings fans had reason to smile as most of their players were part of the action during Match 6 of the IPL between Rising Pune Supergiants and Gujarat Lions.

After the match, which was won by Raina's Lions, CSK players from both sides posed together for a memorable photograph.

While the CSK team is suspended from the IPL till next year, several memories were refreshed on seeing their players together.

More importantly, it once again reminded fans what a formidable team CSK was when the likes of MS Dhoni, R Ashwin, Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Brendon McCullum, DJ Bravo and Dwayne Smith in the squad.
